What you’ll need You need to prepare some conventional tools, 2.4 GHz stable Wi-Fi, and an iPhone iOS 12.4 and above or Android 4 and above. Wi-Fi Access Smartphone or Tablet 2.4GHz Screwdriver Hammer Drill and Drill Bit Quick install Step 1 Test your sprinkler system Use the old controller to test the watering of each area to check that the sprinkler system is working properly.
Step 2 Take a photo of the old wiring Take a picture of the internal wiring of the old controller. This will come in handy for later wiring. Photograph Wiring Step 3 Remove the old controller Unplug and remove the old controller. Remove the old controller Step 4 Install smart controller Screw the mounting board to the wall. Align the holes on the back of the controller with the protrusions for installation. Ensure that the wiring and power adapter can reach the controller.
Step 5 Wiring Remove the small cover on the front of the controller. Connect the sprinkler wires according to the corresponding signs. Refer to the old wiring from the photo you took in Step 2. 8 Zones C 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 M C S1 S2 C Common Wires Common wires are labeled “C” 24VAC - + 1-8 or 1-16 Zone Wires Zone wires correspond to your landscape’s zones. Insert them into the numbered terminals.

If you have a master valve, wire it into the “M” terminal. 24VAC - + S1, S2, 24VAC Sensor Wires (Optional) You are able to connect up to two rain or flow sensors to your controller using the “S1,” “S2,” and 24VAC sensor power terminals. 3. Click the "+" button at the upper right corner on the screen. 4. Enter or scan the barcode on the device. 5. Enter the Wi-Fi password. When the blue light (the middle indicator light) on the device flashes, click the "Confirm" button. 6. Enter the address where you installed the device. 7. Name your device.
9. Set up a watering schedule. 10. Set up information for each area and test watering. For more instructions on installation and setup, go to the Help Center (Account Help Center) on the app, or visit www.environet.us/irrigation. Troubleshooting I cannot connect to Wi-Fi 1. Environet does not support 5G network. Check the Wi-Fi that your phone connects to. If it is a 5G Wi-Fi, change it to a 2.4G Wi-Fi. 2. Make sure the password to the Wi-Fi is correct.
3. After you provide the correct Wi-Fi password, do not click the “Confirm” button until the blue indicator light (the middle light) on the device flashes. 4. If you still have trouble to connect to Wi-Fi, you might reset the Wi-Fi router and repeat the steps. 1 2 3 What are the lights on the top right corner? Left light (Watering status) When the sprinkler controller is running a watering schedule, the indicator light will light up steadily. When it is not watering, the indicator light will go out.
Right light (Power status) After the controller is powered on, the indicator light will light up steadily. My controller is offline Check your Wi-Fi network Check your local network. Are other connected devices working properly? Reset router Make sure that your router is not malfunctioning. Restart the controller Power cycle the controller. Simply unplug the device and plug it back in. My watering task is not running Check your wires Please check whether the common terminal is connected correctly.
