82 Troubleshooting
143: Topper ribbon problem
The topping foil sensor has issued an error.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil cartridge.
3. Inspect the topping foil cartridge. Manually turn the take-up spool one full
turn clockwise. See Inside the Embosser for more information.
4. Replace the topping foil cartridge.
5. Close and lock the embosser.
6. Send the card to print again.
144: Topper ribbon out
The topping foil has reached the end of the RFID roll length.
Replace the topping foil. See Load Topping Foil Cartridge for more
information.
145: Topper ribbon type problem
The embosser supplies use an RFID tag to identify the type of ribbon installed in
the embosser. There is an issue reading this tag.
1. Replace the topping foil with Datacard Certified Supplies.
2. For more information, see Load Topping Foil Cartridge.
146: Topper ribbon support err.
The embosser supplies use RFID technology to identify the type of ribbon
installed in the embosser.
1. Replace the topping foil with Datacard Certified Supplies.
2. For more information, see Load Topping Foil Cartridge.
147: Topper ribbon no tag found
The embosser supplies use RFID technology to identify the type of ribbon
installed in the embosser. The tag is missing or non-tagged supplies are being
used
