139: Lost card, open emboss cover
The system lost the location the card inside of the embosser.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
3. Inspect for and remove the card lost in the embosser.
4. Replace the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
5. Close and lock the embosser.
6. Send the card to print again.
140: Embosser not available
The printer could not communicate with the embosser.
1. Check the data cable from the embosser to the printer. See Connect Data
Cables for more information.
2. Make sure that the data cable is plugged into the printer securely.
3. Press the P
OWER button on the Front Panel twice to power the printer off and
on.
141: Close emboss cover
The card cannot process if the embosser, printer, or multi-card hopper doors are
open.
Check that all access doors are closed securely and locked.
142: Emboss cover error
The embosser cover was opened while a card was processing. The card is being
rejected.
Open and close the embosser access door to make sure it is closed completely and
send the card to print again.
