78 Troubleshooting
129: Embosser topper jam
The topping foil cartridge is not functioning properly.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil cartridge.
3. Repair or the topping foil and replace cartridge.
4. Close and lock the embosser.
5. Send the card to print again.
130: Embosser card entry jam
The card did not transfer from the printer to the embosser correctly.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
3. Turn the manual advance knob to move the card so that it can be removed
from the embosser. See Embosser Card Jam for more information.
• The card may be stuck in the interstage area, or in the transport area of the
embosser.
4. Replace the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
5. Close and lock the embosser.
6. Send the card to print again.
131: Embosser card exit jam
The card is caught in the card exit area or did not exit the embosser correctly.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil cartridge.
3. Check the card exit area and output hopper for stuck or out of place cards.
4. Turn the manual advance knob to move the card so that it can be removed
from the embosser. See Embosser Card Jam for more information.
5. Replace the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
6. Close and lock the embosser.
7. Send the card to print again.
