Embosser Component Messages (125-151)
Messages 125-151 indicate a condition in the embosser.
125: Emboss critical issue
The embosser has encountered a critical error.
1. Press the P
OWER button on the front panel to power the system off.
2. Request service.

INTS & TIPS
• The system needs to remain off due to an internal problem.
• Either pressing the POWER button or press and hold the USER button to power
off the system.
126: Emboss format issue
The data sent cannot be processed by the embosser.
1. Check that the data sent contains the correct number of characters.
• The embosser cannot accept plain data; all data must be encrypted.
2. Check with your systems administrator for assistance.
127: Emboss transport error
The embosser transport assembly is not in position to process cards or
transporting a card has failed.
1. Resend the card.
2. Unlock and open the embosser while the card is being processed.
3. Inspect the embosser transport for interference.
128: Embosser card jam
The card in process cannot proceed due to mechanical obstruction.
1. Unlock and open the embosser.
2. Remove the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
3. Inspect for and remove card jam inside the embosser.
4. Replace the topping foil and indent ribbon cartridges.
5. Close and lock the embosser.
6. Send the card to print again.
