Messages and Conditions
When the system cannot process the card sent, it issues a condition. Conditions
are displayed on the LCD panel on the Front Panel.
Messages on the Printer
• The LCD panel displays a short description and a message number for each
message.
• If more than one message was issued, the next message is displayed after the
problem is corrected and the U
SER button is pressed.
Front Panel Conditions During Messages
The following conditions are apparent while messages are displayed on the LCD
panel.
• The U
SER light flashes quickly (every 1/2 second) for hardware errors; green
for a condition of the embosser or amber for a condition of the printer.
• The U
SER light flashes amber at a medium rate (every second) for all other
system problems, often accompanied by flashing supply and/or card lights.
• The supply and card lights flash quickly (every 1/2 second); green for
problems concerning the embosser and amber for problems concerning the
printer.
