Set Top Box
1. REMOTE CONTROL Connects the set top box to a wall jack using
coax cable to provide video service.
2. SATA Connects the set top box to an external DVR storage device.
3. CH3 / CH4 Determines the channel the set top box uses to output
video service to the TV over the RF TV connection - adjust if a local
over-the-air channel is interfering with reception.
4. COAX Connects the set top box to your TV using a standard coax
cable - provides audio and video.
5. VIDEO Connects the set top box to provide good quality video -
provides video only.
6. AUDIO LEFT/RIGHT Connects the set top box to provide stereo audio
- provides audio only.
7. VIDEO PB/PR/Y Connects the set top box to your TV to provide very
high-quality video - provides video only.
8. OPTICAL AUDIO (S/PDIF) Connects the set top box to a home theater
system via fiber optic cable for best quality audio - provides audio only.
9. S-Video Connects the set top box to your TV to provide high-quality
video - provides video only.
10. HDMI Connects the set top box to your HDTV using an HDMI cable
- provides best quality audio and video.
11. ETHERNET Connects the set top box to the video service using a
CAT5 Ethernet cable.
12. USB 2.0 (Universal Serial Bus) Connects the set top box to technician’s
equipment and other USB devices. This is also used to connect a
keyboard for advanced applications, widgets, etc.
13. DC INPUT Provides power to the set top box.
