It is advisable to define an STP Group to correspond to a
VLAN group of ports.
Parameter Description
View Ports:< >
This field can be toggled using the space
bar between 1 to 12, 13 to 24, and 25-
26. This is used to select the range of
ports displayed in the console.
Configure Ports:[ ]
to [ ]
Allows the entry of a range of port
numbers to be configured.
Port Cost:[ ]
A Port Cost can be set from 1 to 65535.
The lower the number, the greater the
probability the port will be chosen to
forward packets.
Priority:[ ]
A Port Priority can be from 0 to 255. The
lower the number, the greater the
probability the port will be chosen as the
Root Port.
Port Trunking
To configure a port trunking group, highlight Port Trunking
on the Main Menu and press Enter.
