Redundant Power Supply Capability
TheSecureStackA2haspowersupplyredundancycapabilitywhenconnectedtoan
optionalexternalredundantpowersupply(RPS).Iftheinternalpowersupplyfails,the
RPSassumestheentireloadoftheSecureStackA2withoutinterruptingnetworktraffic.
TheinternalpowersupplyandRPSeachhavetheirownACpowerconnection,
which
enablestheconnectionofeachpowersupplytoadifferentACpowercircuitfor
additionalACpowersourceredundancy.

TheSecureStackA2connectstoEthernetnetworksorworkstationsbymeansofthefixed
frontpanelRJ45connectorsandtwofixedfiber‐opticLCconnectors.Formore

Management
Managementofthemodulecanbeeitherin‐bandorout‐of‐band.In‐bandremote
managementispossibleusingTelnet,theEnterasysNetSight

managementapplication,
ortheWebViewapplication.Out‐of‐bandmanagementisprovidedthroughtheDB9
ConsoleportconnectoronthefrontpanelusingaVT100terminaloraVT100terminal
emulator.
Switch Configuration Using WebView
Enterasys Networks’HTTP‐basedWebmanagementapplication(WebView)isan
intuitivewebtoolforsimplemanagementtasks.
Caution: The A2H123-24 is not PoE-compliant. Do not connect a SecureStack PoE
Redundant Power System (C2RPS-POE) to the power connector. Otherwise, damage to
the device may result.
Precaución: El dispositivs A2H123-24 no cumple con el estándar PoE (power over
ethernet). No conecte una fuente de poder redundante (RPS) SecureStack PoE (C2RPS-
POE) al cable de corriente. De lo contrario, el dispositivo puede dañarse.
