Feature Explanation
Sensor Name Enter a friendly user name for the Sensor. When you
open the AirDefense Enterprise GUI, this is the
name the sensors will have in the tree panel area.
Use DHCP Select the option of setting up your Sensor to use a
DHCP Server.
Choose Yes or No.
Yes “greys out” the address fields.
IP Address If you selected No to use DHCP, enter a static IP
address for the sensor.
Sensor Netmask If you selected No to use DHCP, enter a static
Sensor Netmask for the sensor.
Gateway IP Address If you selected No to use DHCP, enter a static
Gateway address for the sensor.
Primary AirDefense Enter the Primary AirDefense Server IP address.
Server IP address Enter the Secondary AirDefense Server IP address.
Note: If you are not using a Secondary AirDefense
Server, type the IP address of the Primary
AirDefense Server a second time.
