Resetting to the Factory Default Configuration
ToresettheRoamAboutSwitchtoitsfactorydefaultconfiguration,usethefollowingcommand:
clear boot config
ThiscommandremovestheconfigurationfilethattheRoamAboutSwitchsearchesforafterthe
softwareisrebooted.
Examples
TobackupthecurrentconfigurationfilenamedconfigurationandresettheRoamAboutSwitchto
thefactorydefaultconfiguration,typethefollowingcommands:
RBT-8100# copy configuration tftp://10.1.1.1/backupcfg
success: sent 365 bytes in 0.401 seconds [ 910 bytes/sec]
RBT-8100# clear boot config
success: Reset boot config to factory defaults.
RBT-8100# reset system force
...... rebooting ......

systemandreboots.Ifyoudonotusetheforceoption,thecomm andfirstcomparestherunning
configurationtotheconfigurationfile.Ifthefilesdonotmatch,MSSdoesnotrestartthe
RoamAboutSwitchbutinstead
displaysamessageadvisingyoutoeithersavetheconfiguration
changesorusetheforceoption.
