Youcanspecifyavaluefrom2through255.Thedefaultis2.
Enabling Router Solicitation
ARoamAboutSwitchcansearchformulticastroutersbysendingmulticast routersolicitation
messages.Thismessageinvitesmulticastroutersthatreceivethemessageandthatsupport router
solicitationtoimmediatelyadvertisethemselvestotheRoamAboutSwitch.Routersolicitationis
disabledbydefault.
TheMSSimplementationofroutersolicitationisbasedon
draft‐ietf‐idmr‐igmp‐mrdisc‐09.txt.
Toenableordisablemulticastroutersolicitation,usethefollowingcommand:
