Theswitchlistensformulticastpacketsandmaintainsatableofmulticastgroups,aswellastheir
sourcesandreceivers,basedonthetraffic.IGMPsnoopingisenabledbydefault.
YoucanconfigureIGMP snoopingparametersandenableordisablethefeatureonanindividual
VLAN
basis.
ThecurrentsoftwareversionsupportsIGMPversions1and2.
Disabling or Reenabling IGMP Snooping
IGMPsnoopingisenabledbydefault.Todisableorreenablethefeature,usethefollowing
command:
set igmp {enable | disable} [vlan vlan-id]
IfyoudonotspecifyaVLANID,thechangeisappliedtoallVLANsontheswitch.
