Changing the Maximum Default Power Allowed On a Radio
Bydefault,themaximumpowerlevelthatRF Auto‐Tuningcansetonaradioisthesameasthe
maximumpowerlevelallowedforthecountryofoperation.Tochangethemaximumpowerlevel
thatRF Auto‐Tuningcanassign,usethefollowingcommand:
set {ap port-list | dap dap-num} radio {1 | 2} auto-tune max-power power-level
Thepower‐levelcanbeavaluefrom1to20.
Example
TosetthemaximumpowerthatRF Auto‐Tuningcansetonradio1ontheAPto12 dBm,typethe
followingcommand.

Youcanconvertdynamicallyassignedchannelsandpowersettingsintostaticallyconfigured
settings,bylockingthemdown.Whenyoulockdownchannelorpowersettings,MSSconverts
thelatestvaluessetbyRFAuto‐Tuningintostaticsettings.
Youcanlockdownchannelorpowersettingsonaradio‐profilebasis.
MSSimplementsthelock
downbychanging theset{ap|dap}radiochannelorset{ap|dap}radiotx‐powercommandfor
eachradiomanagedbytheradioprofile.
Tolockdownchannelorpowersettings,usethefollowingcommands:
set radio-profile name auto-tune channel-lockdown
set radio-profile name auto-tune power-lockdown
Toverifythestaticsettings,usetheshow{ap|dap}configcommand.
Tosavethelockeddownsettings,youmustsavetheswitch’sconfiguration.
