Disabling or Reenabling Channel Tuning
RF Auto‐Tuning forchannelsisenabledbydefault.Todisableorreenablethefeatureforallradios
inaradioprofile,usethefollowingcommand:
set radio-profile name auto-tune channel-config {enable | disable} [no-client]
Theno‐clientoptionallowsMSStochangethechannelonaradioeveniftheradiohasactive
clientsessions.Withoutthisoption,MSSdoesnotchangethechannelunlesstherearenoactive
clientsessionsontheradio.
Example
Todisablechanneltuningforradiosintherp2radioprofile,typethefollowingcommand:
RBT-8100# set radio-profile rp2 auto-tune channel-config disable
success: change accepted.
Changing the Channel Tuning Interval
Thedefaultchanneltuningintervalis3600seconds. Youcanchangetheintervaltoavaluefrom0
to65535seconds.Ifyousettheintervalto0,RF Auto‐Tuningdoesnotreevaluatethechannelat
regularintervals.However,RF Auto‐TuningcanstillchangethechannelinresponsetoRF
anomalies.
EnterasysNetworksrecommendsthatyouuseanintervalofatleast300seconds(5
minutes).
Tochangethechanneltuninginterval,usethefollowingcommand:
set radio-profile name auto-tune channel-interval seconds
Example
Tosetthechanneltuningintervalforradiosinradioprofilerp2to2700seconds(45 minutes),type
thefollowingcommand:
