Resetting a Radio to its Factory Default Settings
TodisableanAPradioandresetittoitsfactorydefaultsettings,usethefollowingcommand:
clear {ap port-list | dap dap-num} radio {1 | 2 | all}
Thiscommandperformsthefollowingactions:
•Setsthetransmitpower,channel,andexternalantennatypetotheirdefaultvalues.
• Removestheradiofromitsradioprofileandplacestheradiointhedefaultradioprofile.
ThiscommanddoesnotaffectthePoEsetting.
Example
Todisableandresetradio2onthe accesspointconnectedtoport3,typethefollowingcommand:
RBT-8100# clear ap 3 radio 2
Restarting an AP
Torestartanaccesspoint,usethefollowingcommand:
reset {ap port-list | dap dap-num}
UsetheresetdapcommandtoresetaDistributedAP.
Whenyouenteroneofthesecommands,theAPdropsallsessionsandreboots.
Caution: Restarting an access point can cause data loss for users who are currently associated
with the AP.
