Resetting a Radio Profile Parameter to its Default Value
Toresetaradioprofileparametertoitsdefaultvalue,usethefollowingcomm and:
clear radio-profile name parameter
Theparametercanbe oneoftheradioprofileparameterslistedinTable 9‐3onpage 9‐18.
Allradiosthatusethisprofilemustbedisabledbeforeyoucandeletetheprofile.Ifyouspecifya
parameter,thesettingfortheparameterisresettoitsdefaultvalue.Thesettingsofthe other
parametersareunchangedandtheradioprofileremainsintheconfiguration.Ifyoudonotspecify
aparameter,theentireradioprofileisdeletedfromtheconfiguration.
Example
Todisabletheradiosthatareusingradioprofilerp1andresetthebeaconed‐ssidparametertoits
defaultvalue,typethefollowingcommands:
RBT-8100# set radio-profile rp1 mode disable
RBT-8100# clear radio-profile rp1 beaconed-ssid
success: change accepted.
Removing a Radio Profile
Toremovearadioprofile,usethefollowingcommand:
clear radio-profile name
Example
Todisabletheradiosthatareusingradioprofilerptestandremovetheprofile,typethefollowing
commands:
RBT-8100# set radio-profile rptest mode disable
RBT-8100# clear radio-profile rptest
success: change accepted.
Caution: Make sure you specify the radio profile parameter you want to reset. If you do not specify
a parameter, MSS deletes the entire profile from the configuration.
Note: You must disable all radios that are using a radio profile before you can remove the profile.
