Finding the Fingerprint
AnAP’sfingerprintislistedonalabelonthebackoftheAP.(Ref erto“EncryptionKey
Fingerprint”onpage 9‐35.)
IftheAPisalreadyinstalledandoperating,usetheshowdapstatuscommandtodisplaythe
fingerprint.

Note: The show dap config command lists an AP’s fingerprint only if the fingerprint has been
verified in MSS. If the fingerprint has not been verified, the fingerprint info in the command output is
blank.
