ToobtaintheimagefilerequiredtoconvertastandaloneRBT‐4102tothinmode:
1. AccessthedownloadpageontheEnterasyswebsite:
http://www.enterasys.com/services/support/downloads
2. Usethepull‐downlistatthetopofthepageunderProductstojumprighttotheRoamAbout
WirelessDevicessection,orscrolldowntothe
WirelessLANsectiononthepage.
3. FromtheRoamAboutdrop‐downlist,selectRoamAboutWirelessAccessPointManager,
andclickGo!.
TheRoamAboutAccessPointDownloadLibrarypageisdisplayed.
4. IntheRoamAboutSwitchManagementsection,clickontheRBT‐4102ThinBinImageImage
link.
5. ClickonRBT‐4102‐thin‐bin
‐fw.zip.
6. DownloadtheimagefilenamedRBT‐4102‐thin‐bin.img.
Configuring the RBT-4102
ThisproceduredescribeshowtoconfiguretheRBT‐4102throughtheWebinterface.For
informationaboutusingtheCLIandconsoleportontheaccesspoint,refertotheRoamAbout
RBT‐4102WirelessAccessPointInstallationGuide.
Beforestartingthisprocedure,youmustknowtheRBT‐4102’sIPaddress.Ifyour
accesspointuses
aDHCPassignedIPaddress,makesuretheaccesspointisconnectedtoyournetworkandenter
theDHCPassignedIPaddressinyourbrowser’saddressfield.(UseyourDHCPserverorother
utilitytodeterminetheaccesspoint’sIPaddress.)
TousetheWebinterfacetoconfigure
theaccesspoint,performthefollowingsteps:
1. Openawebbrowserandentertheaccesspoint’sIPaddressintheaddressfield.
Theaccesspoint’sLoginwindowappears.
