Configuring Countermeasures
YoucanenableMSStousecountermeasuresagainstrogues.Countermeasuresconsistofpackets
thatinterferewithaclient’sabilitytousetherogue.Countermeasuresaredisabledbydefault.
Whenyouenablethem,alldevicesofinterestthatarenotintheknowndeviceslistbecomeviable
targetsforcountermeasures.
Countermeasuresare
enabledonanindividualradioprofilebasis.Whenyoucreatearadio
profile,youcanapplyittospecifiedserviceprofilesortoindividualradios.Thefollowing
exampleshowshowtocreatearadioprofile,applytheradioprofiletoAPradios,thenenable
countermeasuresintheradioprofile.

Toenablecountermeasures:
1. ClickontheConfigurationoptioninthemainRASMtoolbar.
2. IntheOrganizerpanel,clicktheplussignnexttotheRoamAboutSwitch.
3. ClicktheplussignnexttoWireless.
4. SelectRadioProfiles.
5. ClickonCreateRadioProfileundertheCreatesectionoftheTaskpanel.TheCreateRadio

