Theseoptionsallowyoutoseeavarietyofspecificalarmsforeachdeviceinthenetwork.
Manage Faults
Byperformingvarioustasks,suchasacknowledging,unacknowledging,anddeletingfaults;you
canmanageallofthevariousalarmsinRASM.Forsomefaults,RASMprovidesalistofrelated
tasksthatguidesyouthrough appropriatetasksandresolutions.Furthermore,whenthesame
operationcanmanagemorethanonefault,you
canselectthosemultiplefaults,andthenperform
thesameappropriatefaultmanagementoperationsimultaneously.
Ifyouhaveclearedoracknowledgedafaultandaneweventoccursthatcorrelatestotheoriginal
clearedoracknowledgedfault,reactivatetheoriginalfault.
IftheRASMserverisdownforaperiodof
time(anhourormore),allfaultsinthesystemwill
automaticallyclearoncetheserverrestarts.Clearingthefaultsafterdowntimeensuresthatall
faultsinthesystemarevalid.
TheAlarmsfunctiondisplaysinformationretrievedfromtheRASMservice.RASMpresentsthe
dataundertheRASMtoolbaroption
inthefollowingviews:
