•PPPoE:enablestheaccesspointtosupportPPPoEasanauthenticationmethodtoestablish
communicationswithendusersthroughanISP.Default:Disable
• Username:TheusernameassignedbyyourserviceproviderforthePPPoEtunnel.Therangeis
1to63alphanumericcharacters.
• Password:Thepassword
assignedbyyourserviceproviderforthePPPoEtunnel.Therangeis
1to63alphanumericcharacters.
• ServiceName:TheservicenameassignedbyyourserviceproviderforthePPPoE.Theservice
namemayberequiredbysomeserviceproviders.Therangeis1to63alphanumeric
characters.
•IPAllocationMode:Specifies
howIPaddressesforthePPPoEtunnelareconfiguredontheRJ‐
45interface.Theallocationmodedependsonthetypeofserviceyouhavepurchasedfromthe
ISP.IfAutomaticallyallocatedisselected,DHCPisusedtoallocatetheIPaddressesforthe
PPPoEconnection.Ifstaticaddresseshave
beenassignedtoyoubytheISP,youmust
manuallyentertheassignedaddresses.ThedefaultsettingisAutomaticallyallocated.
