WhenyouconfigureQoS(QualityofService)ontheaccesspoint,youcanselectspecificnetwork
traffic,prioritizeit,andusecongestion‐managementandcongestion‐avoidancetechniquesto
providepreferentialtreatment.ImplementingQoSinyourwirelessLANmakesnetwork
performancemorepredictableandbandwidthutilizationmoreeffective.
Eightclassesaredefined
forthepriority.Networkmanagersdetermineactualmappings.The
highestpriorityissevenandthelowestpriorityis0.Forexample,ifyouselect5asthepriority,5
receiveshigherprioritythanthosesetwith0,1,2,3,or4andlowerprioritythanthosesetwith6
and
7astheirpriority.
