Command Usage
•UsethiscommandforthedefaultinterfaceoranyofthesevenVAPsconfigurableperradio
interface.
•WiredEquivalentPrivacy(WEP)isimplementedinthi sdevicetopreventunauthorized
accesstoyourwirelessnetwork.Formoresecuredatatransmissions,enableWEPwiththis
command,andsetatleastone
staticWEPkeywiththekeycommand.
•TheWEPsettingsmustbethesameoneachclientinyourwirelessnetwork.
•NotethatWEPprotectsdatatransmitted betweenwirelessnodes,butdoesnotprotectany
transmissionsoveryourwirednetworkorovertheInternet.
•AlthoughWEPkeysarenot
neededforWPA,youmustenableWEPencryptioninorderto
enablealltypesofencryptionintheaccesspoint.
