normalmode,theaccesspointprovidesachannelbandwidthof20MHz,andsupports
themaximumnumberofchannelspermittedbylocalregulations(e.g.,12channelsforthe
UnitedStates).InTurboMode,thechannelbandwidthisincreasedto40MHztosupport
theincreaseddatarate.However,thisreducesthe
numberofchannelssupported(e.g.,5
channelsfortheUnitedStates).
