Initial Configuration

Overview

YoucanmanagetheRoamAboutAccessPoint3000with:

Initial Configuration Steps

YoucanperformtheinitialconfigurationstepsthroughtheCLIortheWebinterface.

TheaccesspointrequestsanIPaddressfromaDynamicHostConfigurationProtocol(DHCP)

serverbydefault.IfaDHCPserverdoesnotrespond,thentheaccesspointusesthedefault

address,192.168.1.1.

Ifyouutilizea

DHCPservertoprovisionnewelementsinyourIPnetwork,useyourDHCPserver

orotherutilitiestodeterminetheIPaddressassignedtothisaccesspoint.Then,usetheDHCP

assignedIPaddresstoconnecttotheaccesspoint.

Note: You must click on the Apply button at the bottom of each Web interface page for the

configuration changes on that page to take effect.
