Using the Command Line Interface
Accessing the CLI
WhenaccessingthemanagementinterfacefortheAccessPoint3000overadirectconnectiontothe
consoleport,orviaaTelnetconnection,theaccesspointcanbemanagedbyenteringcommand
keywordsandparametersattheprompt.
RefertotheRoamAboutAccessPoint3000HardwareInstallationGuideformoreinformation.
Console Connection
Toaccess theaccesspointthroughtheconsoleport,performthefollowingsteps:
1. Attheconsoleprompt,entertheusernameandpassword.Thedefaultusernameis“admin”
andthedefaultpasswordis“password.”TheCLIdisplaysthe“RoamAbout3000#”prompt.
2. Enterthenecessarycommandstocompleteyourdesiredtasks.
3. Whenfinished,exitthesessionwiththe“exit”command.
Afterconnectingtothesystemthroughtheconsoleport,theloginscreendisplays:
