Syntax
create
Parameters
None.
Defaults
Thenewbootprofilehasthesamesettingsasthecurrentlyactivebootprofilebydefault.
Mode
Bootprompt.
Usage
ARoamAboutswitchcanhaveuptofourbootprofiles.Thebootprofilesarestoredinslots,
numbered0through3.Whenyoucreateanewprofile,thesystemusesthenextavailableslotfor
theprofile.Ifallfourslotsalreadycontainprofilesandyoutrytocreateafifthprofile,the
switch
displaysamessageadvisingyoutochangeoneoftheexistingprofilesinstead.
Tomakeanewbootprofilethecurrentlyactivebootprofile,usethenextcommand.Tochange
bootparametersettings,usethechangecommand.
Example
Thefollowingcommandcreates anewbootprofile inslot1onaRoamAboutswitchthatcurrently
hasonlyonebootprofile,inslot0:
boot> create
