Usage
Ifyoudonotusetheforceoption,thecommandfirstcomparestherunningconfigurationtothe
configurationfile.Iftherunningconfigurationandconfigurationfiledonotmatch,MSSdoesnot
restarttheRoamAboutswitchbutinsteaddisplaysamessageadvisingyoutoeithersavethe
configurationchangesoruse
theforceoption.
Example
ThefollowingcommandrestartsaRoamAboutswitchthatdoesnothaveanyunsaved
configurationchanges:
RBT-8100# reset system
This will reset the entire system. Are you sure (y/n)y
ThefollowingcommandsattempttorestartaRoamAboutswitchwitharunningconfiguration
thathasunsavedchanges,andthenforcetheswitchtorestart:
RBT-8100# reset system
error: Cannot reset, due to unsaved configuration changes. Use "reset system
force" to override.
RBT-8100# reset system force
