VerifiesanAP’sfingerprintonaRoamAboutswitch.IfAPRoamAboutSwitchsecurityisrequired
byaRoamAboutswitch,anAPcanestablishamanagementsessionwiththeswitchonlyifyou
haveverifiedtheAP’sidentitybyverifyingitsfingerprintonthe switch.

APsareconfiguredwithanencryptionkeypairatthefactory.Thefingerprintforthepublickeyis
displayedonalabelonthebackoftheaccesspoint,inthefollowingformat:

aaaa:aaaa:aaaa:aaaa
IfanAPisalreadyinstalledandoperating,youcanusetheshowdapstatuscommandtodisplay
thefingerprint.Theshowdapconfigcommand listsanAP’sfingerprintonlyifthefingerprinthas
beenverifiedinMSS.Ifthefingerprinthasnotbeenverified,thefingerprintinformationinthe
command
outputisblank.
