TooverridethedefaultdomainnamewhenenteringahostnameinaCLIcommand,enteraperiod
attheendofthehostname.Forexample,ifthedefaultdomainnameisexample.com,enterchris.if
thefullyqualifiedhostnameischrisandnotchris.example.com.
AliasestakeprecedenceoverDNS.When
youenterahostname,MSSchecksforanaliaswiththat
namefirst,beforeusingDNStoresolvethename.
