What is TACACS+?

ofeachpacket.

Why Would I Use TACACS+ in My Network?
TACACS+providesthefollowingservices:
•Userauthentication
•Userauthorization
• Accounting(useractivity)
Notes: TACACS+ is supported on most Enterasys devices, with the exception of some Enterasys
fixed switches. Refer to your Enterasys device’s Release Notes to determine if your device supports
TACACS+.
