itiscurrentlyinanaggregation,and,ifitisinanaggregation,theportoftheaggregation.

– Capabilities—Indicatesthenetworkconnectivitydevice’scapabilities.

– LocationIdentification—Providesthelocationidentifierinformationtocommunication

–ExtendedPowerviaMDI—EnablesadvancedpowermanagementbetweenLLDP‐MED

SomeTLVssupportmultiplesubtypes.Forexample,PortIDissent
asanifName(e.g.,ge.1.1)
betweenEnterasysdevices,butwhenanLLDP‐MEDendpointisdetectedonaport,thatTLV
subtypechangestoanetworkaddress(MACaddress),andotherMEDTLVsaresent,asdefined
