settings,leadingtoplug‐and‐playnetworking.ThisissupportedonEnterasysMatrixN‐Series
devices
only.
•Devicelocationandtopologydiscovery,allowingcreationoflocationdatabasesand,inthe
caseofVoIP ,provisionofE911services.ThisissupportedonEnterasysMatrixN‐Series
devicesonly.
•ExtendedandautomatedpowermanagementofPoweroverEthernetendpoints
•Inventorymanagement,allowingnetworkadministratorstotracktheir networkdevices
and
todeterminetheircharacteristics,suchasmanufacturer,softwareandhardwareversions,and
serialorassetnumbers.
