Viewing the Receive and Transmit Activity
Youcanviewthe7G4280‐19receiveandtransmitportactivityontheRXandTXLEDs.
However,onlyonegroupofsixportsmaybeviewedatatime.
Toviewthereceiveandtransmitactivityonagroupof7G4280‐19segments, pressthe
GROUPSELECTbutton(seeFigure 4‐
1)forlessthanonesecondtosteptothegroupof
interest(Groups1through3).EachtimetheGROUPSELECTbuttonispressedforless
thanonesecond,theGROUPLEDlightsupinsequence,indicatingwhichgroupis
selected.Thereceiveandtransmitactivityforthatgroup
ofsegmentsisthenindicatedby
theRXandTXLEDsforeachport.

Note: The terms flashing, blinking, and solid used in Tab l e 4 -1 indicate the following:
• Flashing indicates LED is flashing randomly.
• Blinking indicates LED is flashing at a steady rate (approximately 50% on, 50% off).
• Solid indicates a steady LED light. No pulsing.
• Alternate indicates LED is flashing in a steady rate other than 50% on, 50% off.
