14.3.8 Configuring Denial of Service Prevention
Purpose
To configure Denial of Service (DoS) prevention, which will protect the router from attacks and
notify administrators via Syslog.
Commands
The commands needed to configure DoS prevention are listed below and described in the associated
section as shown:
• show HostDos (Section 14.3.8.1)

• clear hostdos-counters (Section 14.3.8.3)
