Cannot navigate
beyond Startup

Names Table.
Refer to the Matrix E1 (1G582-09 and
1H582-51) Configuration Guide for the
Community Names Table setup.
If the Community Names have been
forgotten, refer to Section B.3 for
instructions on how to set the mode switch to
reset the Community Names to their default
values.
Cannot contact
the device
through in-band
management.
IP address not assigned. Refer to the Matrix E1 (1G582-09 and
1H582-51) Configuration Guide for the IP
address assignment procedure.
Port is disabled. Enable port. Refer to the Matrix E1
(1G582-09 and 1H582-51) Configuration
Guide for instructions to enable/disable
ports.
No link to device. Verify that all network connections between
the network management station and the
device are valid and operating.
If the problem continues, contact
Enterasys Networks for technical support.
