DIMM Replacement (4H4202-72)

DRAM SIMM Replacement Procedure (All DFE Modules)

In the event that the DRAM Single In-line Memory Module (SIMM) needs to be replaced,

the following sections explain how to remove and install the SIMM. If you have questions

concerning the replacement of the SIMM, refer to the section, “Getting Help,” on

page 1-10 for details on how to contact Enterasys Networks.

Note: Because of the complexity of correctly replacing the large daughter board on the

4H4202-72, it is recommended that you contact Enterasys Networks support or nearest

representative if you need to replace the DIMM.
