Filter Group Commands
Thepacketcaptureandfilterfunctionisdisabledbydefault.Onlyoneinterfacecanbeconfigured
forcapturingandfilteringatatime.
Whenpacketcaptureisenabledonaninterface,theSecureStackB2switchwillcapture100frames
asclosetosequentiallyaspossible.These100frameswillbeplaced
intoabufferforinspection. If
thereisdatainthebufferwhenthefunctionisstarted,thebufferwillbeoverwritten.Once100
frameshavebeencaptured,thecapturewillstop.Filteringwillbeperformedontheframes
capturedinthebuffer.Therefore,onlyasubsetoftheframes
capturedwillbeavailablefordisplay.
Onechannelatatimecanbesupported,withuptothreefilters.Configuredchannel,filter ,and
buffercontrolinformationwillbesavedacrossresets,butcapturedframeswithinthebufferwill
notbesaved.
Thisfunctioncannotbeusedconcurrentlywithportmirroring.Thesystem
willchecktoprevent
concurrentlyenablingbothfunctions,andawarningwillbegeneratedintheCLIifattempted.
