OncetheSecureStackB2devicehasavalidIPaddress,youcanestablishaTelnetsessionfromany
TCP/IPbasednodeonthenetwork.Forinformationaboutsettingtheswitch’sIPaddress,referto
setipaddressonpage 311.
ToestablishaTelnetsession:
1. Telnettotheswitch’sIPaddress.
2. Enterlogin(username)andpasswordinformationinoneofthefollowing ways:
–Iftheswitch’sdefaultloginandpasswordsettingshavenotbeenchanged,followthe
stepslistedinUsingaDefaultUserAccountonpage 16, or
–Enteranadministrativelyconfiguredusernameand password.
