The ﬁelds in the Remote Proﬁles Selection(s) are deﬁned as follows:

IF# — Interface number of the proﬁle.

Name — The name of the proﬁle as deﬁned by the user.

RID — Remote Identiﬁer.

PF # — Proﬁle number, the information used to describe a possible connection.

Once the desired proﬁle is selected, the following ﬁelds of the selected proﬁle can be set or

modiﬁed as desired: Proﬁle Name, Maker Name, Calling Number, and Caller Number.

The BoD Conﬁguration selection leads to a menu that allows you to set and conﬁgure Multilink

Protocol (MP) support. This menu is described in the section titled Bandwidth-on-Demand

(Multilink Protocol) Configuration.

The command ﬁelds at the bottom of the screen are deﬁned as follows:

SAVE — Allows the user to save the conﬁguration in NVRAM once changes have been made.

CLEAR — Allows the user to clear an entire proﬁle.

SELECT — Allows the user to enter the Remote Proﬁle Selection(s) area in order to choose the

proﬁle to conﬁgure or modify.

EXIT — Exits the current screen.

PREV/NEXT — The Remote Proﬁle Selection(s) screen will not display more than 10 proﬁles at a

time. When there are more than 10 proﬁles to be displayed, the choices PREV and NEXT will

display at the bottom of the screen. Highlight NEXT to go to the screen after the currently

displayed screen, and PREV to go to the screen before the currently displayed screen. There is a

maximum of 20 proﬁles.
