The procedures listed below and detailed in the following sections must be performed in the order

given to properly conﬁgure the HSIM or CyberSWITCH for call backup:

• Conﬁgure primary lines and routing.

• Select the protocol.

• Enable CCP.

• Conﬁgure backup.

• Set idle timeouts.

• Conﬁgure the D channel.

• Set phone numbers and SPIDS (if applicable).

• Set maximum number of neighbor/remote proﬁles.

• Conﬁgure the proﬁles.

• Reset the device.

• Verify status.
