indexesorentriescanbeconfigured.

802.1pprioritycanbeappliedperCoSindex.ForeachnewCoSindexcreated,theuserhas
theoptiontoassignan802.1ppriorityvalue0to7fortheclassofservice.CoSindexes0
through7mapdirectlyto802.1pprioritiesandcannot
bechangedastheyexistforbackward
compatibility.
•ToS
Thisvaluecanbe setperclassofservice,butisnotrequired.Whenaframeisassignedtoa
classofserviceforwhichthisvalueisconfigured,theToSfieldoftheincomingIPpacketwill
beoverwrittentothe
user‐definedvalue.ToSbits0‐255canbeset,makingtheentireToSfield
rewritable.ToScanbesetforCoSindexes0through7.
