Aspartofthedefaultupgradeprocess,
whentheWirelessAPregisterswiththecontroller,theAPʹsfirmware
versionisverified.Ifitdoesnotmatchwiththevalueasdefinedforthe
defaultimage,theAPisrequestedtoupgradetothedefaultimage.
<control> Specifiescontrolledupgrade.Thecontrolled
upgradeallowsyouto
individuallyselectandcontrolthestateofaWirelessAPimage
upgrade.Forexample,youcanspecifywhichWirelessAPtoupgrade,
theupgradeschedule,andhowtoupgrade.
Note: After you have run the upgrd command to upgrade the Wireless AP’s software image, you
must run the apply command.
