IftheXSRharmsthetelephonenetwork,
thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouinadvancethatitmayneedtotemporarily
discontinueservice.Butifadvancenoticeisnotpractical,thetelephonecompanywillnotifyyouassoonaspossible.Also,you
willbeadvisedofyourrighttofileacomplaintwiththeFCCifyou
believeitisnecessary.
Thetelephonecompanymaymakechangesinitsfacilities,equipment,operations,orproceduresthatcouldaffecttheoperation
oftheXSR.Ifthishappens,thetelephonecompanywillprovideadvancenoticeforyoutomakenecessarymodificationsand
maintainuninterruptedservice.
IfyouexperiencetroublewiththeXSR,forrepairorwarrantyinformation,pleasecontactEnterasysNetworks,Inc.,at978‐684‐
1000.IftheXSRiscausingharmtothetelephonenetwork,thetelephonecompanymayrequestthatyoudisconnectthe
equipmentuntiltheproblemissolved.TheXSRisnotintendedtoberepairedbythecustomer.

satisfaction.
Beforeinstallingthisequipment,usersshouldensurethatitispermissibletobeconnectedtothefacilitiesofthelocal
telecommunicationscompany.Theequipmentmustalsobeinstalledusinganacceptablemethodofconnection.Thecustomer
shouldbeawarethat
compliancewiththeaboveconditionsmaynotpreventdegradationofserviceinsomesituations.
Repairstocertifiedequipmentshouldbecoordinatedbyarepresentativedesignatedbythesupplier.Anyrepairsoralterations
madebytheusertothisequipment,orequipmentmalfunctions,maygivethetelecommunicationscompanycausetorequest
theusertodisconnecttheequipment.
