4. Connect the FastEthernet port(s) to your LAN connectors with a cable, as shown in
Figure 2-13.

5. Attach the power supply cord to the power connector at the rear of the router, as shown in
Figure 2-14, and plug in the country-sprecific power cord to a wall socket. Optionally, you can
attach the external power supply and cord to the external power source connector as a
redundant power source.
