CompactFlash Memory Card
The optional plug-in CompactFlash (CF) memory card, shown in Figure A-30, comprises a single
chip controller and flash memory modules in a matchbook-sized package with a 50-pin, PCMCIA
connector consisting of two rows of 25 female contacts each.
The PCMCIA male interface supports both Type I and Type II CF cards. Note that the CF release
mechanism pops out when you install the card.
For instructions on installing the CompactFlash card, refer to the Hardware Installation chapter in
this manual.
