ToconfigureRADIUSserverforauthentication:
1. (Optional)ChangetheServerAlias.
2. EntertheServerAddressandSharedSecret.ClickUnmasktoviewandproofreadthe
SharedSecret.
3. (Optional)ChangetheNumberofTries,Timeout(s),and/orPort.
4. ClickSavetosaveyourchanges.

ThissectiondiscussestheWLANglobalconfigurationprocess,includinghowtocreateanACL
andglobalQoSsettings.
Creating an Access Control List
TheAccessControlList(ACL)optionallowsyoutofilteraccesstoclientsbasedontheirMAC
address.YoucanentermultipleMACaddressesintothelistandchoosetoeitherdenyorallow
accesstotheMACaddresseslisted.
Unmask Click to display the value entered in the Shared Secret field.
Authentication
Number of Tries Enter number of times (1-10) the AP tries to contact the RADIUS
server. The default number of tries is 3.
Timeout (s) Enter the timeout, in seconds (1-10 seconds) for retries. The
default timeout is 3 seconds.
Port Enter the port number on the RADIUS server that the AP should
use when sending its RADIUS request messages. The value can
range from 1024 to 65535. The default port number is 1812.
Function Buttons
Save Click to save your changes.
Undo Click to display the most recently saved values for the settings on
this screen.
Factory Defaults Click to display the factory defaults on this screen.The factory
defaults are not applied until you click Save.
