ToconfiguretheGeneralLANsettings:
1. (Optional)ChangetheAPNameandaddadescription.
2. (Optional)ChangetheEthernetSpeedfromautotoamanualspeed,thenselecttheEthernet
Mode.
3. (Optional)SelecttheVLANTaggedcheckboxtoenableVLANtaggingandentertheVLAN
ID.
4. Ifyouhavenotdonesoalready,configureDHCPorIPaddressproperties.Formore

5. (Optional)SelecttheEnableSNMPcheckboxtoenableSNMP.SeeConfiguringSNMP

6. (Optional)EntertheSharedSecretiftheAPparticipatesinaCluster.ClickUnmasktoview
theSharedSecret.
7. (Optional)SelecttheUseEncryptioncheckbox.
8. (Optional)SelecttheLEDMode.
9. (Optional)EntertheNTPServerAddress.
10. ClickSave.AdialognotifiesyoutheconfigurationchangewillcausetheAPtoreboot.

Configuring SNMP

applicationsuchasEnterasysNetworksNetSightConsoletomanagetheAPviaSNMPfroma

Network Time Protocol (NTP)
NTP Server Address Enter the IP address of the NTP Server. If you do not identify an
NTP server, the logs timestamp displays “uptime” for the AP.
Function Buttons
Save Click to save your changes.
Undo Click to display the most recently saved values for the settings on
this screen.
Factory Defaults Click to display the factory defaults on this screen.The factory
defaults are not applied until you click Save.
