To attach the supplied console cable to the XP-2000’s DB-9 port:
1. Locate the console cable included with the XP-2000 chassis. The console cable is a
female to female DB-9 crossover cable that has the following pin assignments:
2. Plug one end of the console cable into the XP-2000’s DCE DB-9 port.
3. Plug the other end of the console cable into the management console’s DTE port.
